2 years! Can you believe it?

 Make sure to visit Pandanda tomorrow, October 24th, to help us celebrate Pandanda's 2 Year Launch Anniversary. Pandanda ended our beta testing period on October 23rd, 2009 and launched our great site for everyone to experience on Launch Day, October 24th, 2009!



It has been a fun two years, and I am looking forward to having even MORE fun in Year 3! Did you remember some of the new things in Year 2? The Official Pandanda Blogroll was started in Pandanda's 2nd Year, recognizing many of the incredible blogs about Pandanda that you all have created and maintain. I also moved and improved my Blog, adding links to photo albums of pictures that you sent in.

Questy Greybeard arrived in Pandanda Land with a catalog of Quest rewards for sale as Questers reached higher and higher Levels. At Level 50, Questers were able to summon their very own Dragon Companions in a challenging series of Quests. Lower level Questers were also able to buy a Pony and Horse Companions.

The Panda Gold program started this year, giving you new ways to get Elite memberships by buying or earning Panda Gold. Mods can also award Panda Gold in Pandanda during special games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill.

Wow, I got so wrapped up in remembering the cool stuff that happened during Pandanda's 2nd year that I almost forgot to tell you....I am going to be paying some visits to Pandanda tomorrow during the 2nd Anniversary Celebration!  I will visit at 2am Pandanda Time, 9am Pandanda Time,3pm Pandanda Time, and 8pm Pandanda Time. You can click the links for each of those times to see what time it will be where you live.

If you've got a Launch shirt from way back on October 24, 2009, tomorrow would be a great day to wear it! I look forward to seeing all my Panda Pals tomorrow!

Hey guys! How is the collecting sweets going? I'm doing fine! I already bought a Witch hat and a Trick or Treat basket! I hope you are all enjoying the Festival because i sure am!

So there is a extra quest from Paige today 'Chocolate Bars' this is how it looks like:

There is also another one from Draco the spooky ghost in the Parlour, and the quest is called 'Eyes on the Prize', and you will find the eyes in Misty Hill or Pawthorne Forest.

Ok so one more thing! About 30 minutes ago i had a great time with Chesnut (ches) on pandanda! Just watch her amazing airoplane!

Wow guys! Im so sorry about not posting for literally AGES! This is because i really REALLY didn't have time, and if your in high school aka secondary school then you will know what i am talking about ;) ( homework, homework, homework!) So ill try and keep up with all the new stuff on pandanda! It is so funky! Ok so first of all is: 

                                          
                        Pumpkin Festival!   






The 2011 Pumpkin Festival is brilliant! Just watch how many new and awesome prizes there are to win! 

You can find the prizes on West Market street. Click on the Cauldron and all the prizes will come up.


As you can see, I have collected 42 sweets. If you do not know how to collect sweets yet, don't worry cause i will tell you everything you need to know! ;). All the sweets are hidden in pandanda. You can find sweets everywhere like Pawthorne Forest, The Den, and just everywhere (except from treehouses!). Just be patient, and all the sweets will come up :) There are all different types of sweets, but don't worry all of them are yummy!

To check how many sweets you have collected, a pumpkin shaped trick or treat box is located under the map icon.

There's one more thing you have to know! Everyone knows how popular the quests are, and there are alot of brilliant questers on pandanda. In nearly all the Festivals, there has been some extra quests, and of course there are some funky halloween quests! The one yesterday was from Mr.Elmhurts on West Market street, and today there was a quest from Draco (NOTE: Draco is a spooky ghost in The Parlour, which only arrives in Halloween!). Draco's quest was 'Bat Wing Stew'. Sounds horribly delicious! lol xD. There is also one from Fitch in Clothing Co.

Oh guys i nearly forgot! If you are wondering where everyone got those cool and spooky pumpkins from in their treehouses, just go to Harvest Grove, click on Farmer Ned, next click on 'Buy items', and there you have 3 choices of pumpkins for your treehouse!

Game day Going Strong! 


Wow, everyone really seemed to enjoy Game Day on Saturday! The Mods and I awarded Panda Gold to almost 200 different pandas. That's a bunch of bunny chasing and ghost hunting! And I hope everyone took advantage of the double coins for multiplayer games. That was a great chance to add coins to your account!

Mod Skippers shared some pictures of a couple of the games he hosted on Game Day. It's great to see so many happy pandas!








Don't forget that Pink Panic Color Day is this Thursday. Celebrate pink by wearing pink Panda Paint, pink clothing, and pink accessories. Everyone looks great in pink, so don't be shy about wearing it!

Some other things that are coming up this month are Wacky Outfit Day on Tuesday the 26th and another cool Free Elite Member Day on Saturday the 30th. There is still a lot of fun left in July!

Game day! 

Hi friends! It's time to grab your bunny nets and ghost-catching backpacks and get ready for the first ever Pandanda Game Day!! Most of you have probably noticed that the Mods and I sometimes host games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill, where we award Panda Gold to the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Well, we are going to kick it up a notch tomorrow, Saturday, July 16th, during Game Day. The Mods are going to be hosting as many games as they can fit into their shifts, giving you lots of chances to win Panda Gold. But here's where it gets REALLY exciting! Instead of winning 25 Gold for 1st place and 10 Gold for 2nd place...wait for it, wait for it...1st place will get 250 Gold and 2nd place will get 100 Gold!

And that's not all! Every multiplayer game will award double Coins on Saturday. That means every time you play Pen the Pig, Line 4, Ghosts of Misty Hill, and Bunny Chase, you will receive twice as many Pandanda Coins as you usually do. You can win as many Pandanda Coins as you are able. Awesome!

I've made one little change for Saturday to the usual rules for Panda Gold games. Normally, the rule is that you can only win Panda Gold once a day. But for Saturday only, you can win more than once a day, but you can only win Gold once from each Moderator.  Confused?

For example, say you won Panda Gold from Jozie. If you play another game with Jozie and come in 1st or 2nd place, you can't win any more gold from her. But, if you see another Mod, like Skippers, later and play and win a game with him, you CAN win Panda Gold again! Every Mod will be keeping a list of their winners.

One rule has not changed - NO POTIONS! Just use your regular Panda skills to catch those bunnies and ghosts, with no help from turbo or bunny potions. I know everyone will play fairly!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - I am going to be hosting some Panda Gold Games tomorrow, too! I'm planning to kick off Game Day with a visit at12am Pandanda Time, then at 8am Pandanda Time, then again at 3pm Pandanda Time. You can click on each link to see what time it will be where you live.

Pandanda Summer Festival 2011

You’ve waited a whole year, and now it’s back - the Pandanda Summer Festival! Starting tomorrow, June 16^th, Pandanda will be turned into a tropical paradise. Relax under the palm trees as you enjoy the sun, sand, and music.

Don’t relax too much, though! Keep your eyes open for the Festival Pineapples that will be popping up all over Pandanda Land. You’ll want to collect those to trade to Kapono for his cool Summer Festival Prizes! For you Questers, there will be one extra Quest each day during the Festival.

The Pandanda Summer Festival is around for just two weeks, and will end on Thursday, June 30^th. It’s going to be so much fun in the sun! I can’t wait!

Summer is a great time to relax in the sun, especially on pandanda! While you are relaxing why not try and look for some pineapples that appear surprisingly on Pandanda Land?!

When you think you have enough pineapples, head over to Fishing hole and click on Kapano who has all the amazing prizes!

Hey there Panda@Blog lovers!!! Today i have met Maxwell and Jinxsey the Moderator! I did not get to do a picture of Maxwell saying hi to you guys but i did get a picture of Jinxsey! Here she is with the bunnies:

As you can see the panda standing next to Jinxsey is holding a net, so obviously we were playing the Bunny Chase Contest! I did win that game and i got rewarded 25 panda gold. Bubblequeen won 2nd so well done, and also a well done to all the other pandas that tried! Unfortunately some of you did not get the chance to win the Bunny Chase contest because this was the last one, but i'm sure there will be LOADS more Bunny Chase Contests with other fun and exciting Moderators!

Cool New Summer Clothes and LEVEL 60!!       June 1st, 2011


It;s the first day of June, and Summer is arriving in Pandanda! Get ready for those hot days of fun in the sun and on the beach by visiting Fitch in Clothing Co. on East Market Street . He has just stocked his store with some of the coolest summer items ever! 


Want to keep the sun out of your eyes? How about a visor or a sharp pair of sunglasses? Planning to spend a lot of time on Coconut Beach? Pick out a great swimsuit, then decide how active you wannt to be. 


You can hit the waves with a surfboard, observe the underwater life with a snorkel and and swimfins, or just float peacefully in a swim ring. If you'd rather not go in the water, how about beach volleyball? There are also soccer jerseys and a soccer ball if you rather play some soccer.....ummm football? futbol? footy?


Maybe you'd rather just show off your style around town. There are cute new skirts and tops, baggy jeans, tank tops, t shirts shoes, necklaces, and backgrounds for your player cards.

Muzester Moderator!

Hey you guys! I just had the best time with Muzester the Moderator! She was very funny and she called me Pinkz and i called her Muze! lol :D We played a wonderful Bunny Chase game and i was the winner for the first match and got 25 panda gold as a reward (second place gets 10 panda gold). Muze stayed there with us for a long time and we chatted away. She also had a very tricky interview with some Safe chat pandas ( we now know that her favorite sport is football, her favorite mini-game is one of the dragon ones and line four, and her favorite food is pizza - so is mine! :D).  Here she is Saying hello to you guyz!

Hey Pandas, our newest resident, Maggie, has just arrived! You'll find her in Farmer Ned's Barn taking care of the animals. She has a whole bunch of Horses and Ponies for sale with Panda Gold and has daily quests for you. Any Companions purchased with Panda Gold can be used without an Elite Membership. Be sure to stop by and say 'hi'!

The House & Tree catalog has been replaced by the new furniture shopping experience. Just like the clothes shopping, you can now preview the furniture before purchasing, buy multiple items at once, and see which items you already own. There is a lot of new furniture including new walls to turn your treehouse into a beach party!

Non-Elite Members will find several furniture items they can purchase using Panda Gold. All items purchased with Panda Gold are yours to keep forever! You don't need to have an Elite Membership to own these items. Of course, with an Elite Membership you have access to so much more. I hope you all enjoy decorating your tree houses with these great new items!

Hi Panda Pals! Congratulations to all the pandas who were able to Summon a Dragon today! i'll post more about that tomorrow but now it's time for another round of Meet the Mods! Today's Mod Questions and Answers are from Moderator Moonie. Moonie has been a Pandanda Moderator for a very long time! 


Do you have any Dragons?

• Yes. I have four. Red, Yellow, Green and Black. Their names are Marlo, King, Echo, and Tana (named after my kid's nicknames and my dogs) 

What is your treehouse like?

• Colorful with lots of pets and plants.

What is your favorite Outfit?

• I like the Monster Head the best. It's something i can wear with my awesome Mod shirt. Put that with the right pair of shoes and you've got a stylish Mod! 

What is your favorite color? 

• Red

Which minigame is your favorite?

• Dragons Revenge of course. It's the best game ever! I often log in when i'm not scheduled to work, just to play!What

Would you rather chase Bunnies or hunt Ghosts?

• Bunnies. The freezing ghosts always get me, so i'm frozen all the time when i'm hunting for ghosts. I usually have a low score for ghost catching and a high score for bunny catching.

What was your favorite Festival?

• The Summer Festival, it's my favorite time of year. Opening Coconut beach a few days before the festival was perfect timing. It gave us a great place to hang out and catch some rays. 

What is your favorite Quest?

• I like all of Tammy's quests, they have interesting graphics, animations and flowers.

What is your favorite room in Pandanda?

• I like Darby Field because it's fun to take a break and catch bunnies, then get back to chatting. 

What is the best thing about being a Moderator?

• All the cool kids you get to meet.

What is the hardest thing about being a Moderator?

• Making sure everyone feels included in the conversation. Also, it's a bit of a bummer when i leave and the pandas i thought are nice start acting up.

• When the kids are helpful to me and other pandas.

Welcome to Spring Party Review!        March 21st, 2011


The snows have all melted and the flowers are blooming. Spring has sprung! I had a great time welcoming spring to Pandanda with all of my friends on Saturday. I even brought Raphael and Phoenix out for the fun. Little Phoenix had to flap his wings hard to keep up with Raphael, but he didn’t mind!

During my visits, I decided to turn some games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill into REAL contests by awarding Panda Gold to the 1st place pandas! There were a couple of special rules for the times we played for Gold - 1) No potions, and 2) You can only win once a day. It was awesome to see everyone cooperating and having fun!

The pandas who won Panda Gold for playing Bunny Chase with me on Saturday were PANDSWEROU, Jayy124cp, KASPERSKY, Sandano, Febiana124, Sherman98cp, nic883, razvanff, Gvido and rossey22.

The pandas who won Panda Gold for playing Ghosts of Misty Hill with me were Tomfalls3, Persiikata, Pandagelu, adelin319, Chelios, ggutev, Pami9, Sk8terguy277, jb1234, RanRan, and Alison1789.

Each of those players got 50 Panda Gold added to their accounts! Don’t worry if you didn’t get to play on Saturday. There will be more chances to play and win coming up!

St. Patrick's Day Review                     March 18th, 2011


It was great to see so many of you dressed in green yesterday for St. Patrick’s Day. I had fun visiting, chatting, and Irish dancing with you, and Raphael enjoyed the chance to spread his wings and fly around in the warmer weather.

I snapped a few pictures during my visit (I had to snap VERY carefully when I was riding Raphael!) and posted them in an album on Facebook. I’ve included one of the pictures below. You can see the rest of the pictures here, even if you don’t have a Facebook account.





The Player Card Drawing Contest judges are looking at all of the entries that were sent in. We really have a hard job ahead of us to pick one winner, because there are so many awesome drawings! I will announce the Grand Prize winner next Wednesday, right here on my blog.

The weather has been warming up in Pandanda, and only a little bit of snow is left. The official First Day of Spring is Sunday, so let’s celebrate with a Welcome Spring Party this Saturday!

Join me and my dragons, Raphael and Phoenix, for a day full of Spring Fun! I will be visiting at 12:01 AM and 11:00 AM Pandanda Time (Pacific Daylight Time). The Pandanda Team worked hard on updating the list of times below, but since some parts of the world are in Daylight Saving Time, while other parts are not, please check your time carefully! I have something new and fun planned for my visits on Saturday, but I can’t tell you what it is yet. You’ll just have to party with me to find out. And it wouldn’t hurt if you brushed up on your bunny and ghost hunting skills!

Shamrocks and Spring       March 15th, 2011


Wow, I’ve already spotted some of you with Zing Ballyhoo’s first prize! You are some dedicated Golden Ticket-collecting pandas! I wonder if Zing is going with an Irish theme this time. I guess we will find out more next week, when he reveals his 2nd prize.

Speaking of Irish, don’t forget to wear green on Thursday for St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone who logs in on Thursday will get a special gift. Want a hint about what it will be? Ok, listen carefully…. it will have a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Hahaha! Good hint, huh? You’ll just have to log in Thursday to see for yourself!

It’s your last chance to get your drawings in for the Player Card Drawing Contest. The deadline for your entries is 11:59 pm Pacific Time (Pandanda Time) on Wednesday. Any entries received after that will not be entered into the contest. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 23rd in my blog.

Zing Returns on Monday!              March 11th, 2011


I heard from Zing Ballyhoo the other day, and he is excited to be returning to Pandanda on Monday! He wouldn’t give me any clues to what his prizes will be this time, but said he thinks everyone will really like them. Watch for his tent to be set up at Tree House Lobby this weekend. I bet Questy will be happy to have Zing back to share the Lobby with him!

You can start collecting Golden Tickets after Zing arrives on Monday, March 14 at 12:01am Pandanda Time. Once you have 10 Golden Tickets, you can trade them to Zing for his first prize. I can’t wait!

You still have time to get your entries in for the Player Card Drawing Contest. The deadline for submitting your drawings is Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time. You can find complete rules and instructions here or click on Player Card Contest at the top of the blog. The Grand Prize winner will have their design turned into an actual player card background to be used in Pandanda! They will also receive a 3-month Elite Membership Gift Certificate, 5000 Panda Power, and 200 Panda Gold. Show us your best drawings!

Super Questers meet DRAGON!!     March 7th, 2011


I had a great time partying with all of the Super Questers at Level 40 and above on Saturday! I was especially excited about giving them the first look at the rideable dragon from the Level 50 Quest. I think everyone was a bit nervous at the thought of meeting a huge dragon, but once Raphael appeared, it was clear that he was nothing to be afraid of!

After the Level 40 party was over, I took Raphael around to some of the other servers, to give even more pandas the chance to see him. He was really happy to be able to spead his wings and fly all over Pandanda. In case you missed it on Saturday, I’ve attached a few pictures at the end of this update.

Don’t forget, tomorrow is Mardi Gras Color Day! Wear your purple, green, gold, and yellow colors to celebrate this fun day. Zing’s Joker background, hat, mask, and shirt are perfect for Mardi Gras! You can even use Panda Paint to make your whole panda a Mardi Gras color! Laissez les bon temps rouler - let the good times roll!
